Coquitlam is a city where the customer base changes every year. New streets open on Burke Mountain, towers rise around the Evergreen stations, and older houses in the southwest change hands and get renovated. CoquitlamMarketing.ca helps trades and local businesses keep up with that movement, so your marketing budget follows the households that are actually ready to hire.
A growing city means a moving target
The short answer: what worked for your business five years ago in Coquitlam is probably aimed at the wrong streets today. Population counts from the 2021 Census put Coquitlam at 148,625 people, up 6.7% from 2016, and the growth hasn't been spread evenly.
Three kinds of neighbourhood now sit side by side:
- Established areas such as Maillardville, Austin Heights and Central Coquitlam, where older homes create steady repair and renovation work.
- Densifying corridors around Burquitlam, Lincoln and Coquitlam Central stations, where the City's Burquitlam-Lougheed plan focuses new growth near the SkyTrain stations and along the North Road / Clarke Road corridor.
- New communities on Burke Mountain, where whole neighbourhood plans are still being built out.
Each one buys differently. A strata resident in a City Centre tower, a family that just took keys on Partington Creek and a long-time owner in Ranch Park won't respond to the same ad, the same page or even the same language. Our areas page walks through every district and what it means for your marketing.
What we do, and what stays with your team
We plan, build and run the marketing that brings in calls, texts and emails, and we advise owners on pricing, service mix and where to expand. We are not a contractor: we never quote, install, repair or send anyone to a customer's home.
Four services do most of the work, each explained on the services hub:
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile so you show up on the map in the areas you can reach.
- Google Ads priced from your job margins, with a cost-per-lead cap you can defend.
- Growth-area campaigns aimed at new and densifying neighbourhoods.
- Multilingual marketing for customers who search in Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese or Persian.
Check your own numbers first
Before you hire anyone, work out the most a lead can cost you. It takes five minutes and it protects you from agencies that report clicks instead of jobs.
| Step | Your figure | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Average job value | ____ | $1,200 |
| Gross margin | ____ | 40%, so $480 |
| Share of leads that become paid jobs | ____ | 30% |
| Break-even cost per lead | margin × close rate | $480 × 0.30 = $144 |
If your current ads cost $180 a lead with those numbers, every lead loses money until the close rate or the job value improves. Our guide on what a Coquitlam lead is worth goes deeper, including repeat customers and seasonal swings.
Proof, and an honest label on it
The group's track record comes from heating and cooling companies, so we present these as results from our HVAC work rather than pretending they came from your trade. BCWide.ca tripled its leads in 90 days, and GasBoilers.ca, a division built for CANRO Heat, now serves 26+ BC communities with a 5.0★ rating from 76+ Google reviews.
What transfers to a Coquitlam plumber, roofer or clinic is the system behind those numbers: call tracking from day one, one page per real service and area, and monthly decisions based on booked work. The results page shows each case and the lessons we'd apply to your business.
Who we are
CoquitlamMarketing.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, a Canadian company headquartered in Vancouver, BC. Ali Sedighi, MBA, runs it; his digital marketing career began in 2007, and his team has put 150+ HVAC websites live. Trades marketing in the group runs under Trades.Agency, and this site applies that work to Coquitlam specifically.
We don't have a Coquitlam storefront and won't invent one. You reach us by call, text or email, and you speak with the person planning your account. Read more about how we work, see pricing, or check the FAQ for straight answers on contracts and ownership.
Built for the trades that keep Coquitlam running
We work with plumbers, electricians, roofers, renovators, landscapers, painters, cleaners, movers, window and door installers, and the local clinics, studios and shops that serve the same households. If your customers live or work in Coquitlam and you need more of the right enquiries, this site was written for you.
A good first message
You don't need a brief. Tell us your trade, the Coquitlam neighbourhoods you serve, what a typical job is worth and what you've tried before. The contact page has a short template you can copy, and we usually reply within one business day.

Frequently asked questions
What is CoquitlamMarketing.ca?
It's a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for Coquitlam trades and local businesses. The service belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, a Canadian company run from its Vancouver head office by Ali Sedighi, MBA.
Are you a contractor?
No. We don't install, repair, renovate or service anything, and we don't sell leads to multiple companies. We market your business and advise you on growth; your team does the work.
Do you only work with businesses inside Coquitlam's boundaries?
Coquitlam is the focus, but most clients also serve Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Burnaby or New Westminster. We plan the whole service area you actually cover and weight the budget toward the parts that pay.
How much does it cost?
Plans run month to month from $1,999 a month, or $1,499 a month if you commit to annual billing, plus 5% GST. Ad spend goes straight to Google or Meta on your own card. Eligible trades businesses get a free 30-minute first consultation.
Your case studies are HVAC companies. Why should a plumber or landscaper care?
They are results from our HVAC work, and we say so plainly. The parts that carry over are the method: tracking every call, building pages around real services and areas, and cutting spend that doesn't produce jobs.
Do we own the website and ad accounts?
Yes. Ads run in accounts registered to your business, the Google Business Profile stays under your ownership, and website files and domains are yours. If you leave, you keep everything.
